Vote for one of us to be in the World Bank run Climate Resilience Committee

Dr. Maksha Ram Maharjan, one of our colleagues, is a candidate for the civil society observer for the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience Committee of the World Bank Climate Investment Trust Fund. The position will be filled by your votes. Please cast your valuable vote to give him an opportunity he is seeking to serve the poor people who are vulnerable to climate change.

Voting is already opened for the selection of candidates. It will remain open until July 31st, 2009 at 5:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time. Please cast your vote during this timeframe. To cast your vote, please visit the RESOLVE website www.resolv.org/cif/voting

  3. I first wondered what Maksha meant because I didn’t know about it. But I now know that he is the guy, who is is going to pray for rain and for looking after the unattended children.
